About Us
Well, generally speaking we are a multinational family and I would like to introduce you to our whole family. I was born in Austria ( not Australia ). My Dad was stationed in Austria just after WW2 and met my Mother there. I was his first attempt at sealing a long lasting relationship with the repatriated Austrians. Seems like it worked, they were married till my Fathers death in 1976. My wife Erika is from a small town in the Bavarian part of Germany. I got to know her when we both worked in the NCO Club in Ansbach, Germany. I tried for a one night stand but she wasn't having any of that, she was in it for the long haul ( must have been my debonaire good looks ). Now 28 years later I find that not only was she a Mother to our children, a wife and lover to me, but as a life companion she can't be topped. Three of our four children were born in Germany and one was born in California. After 20 years of service in Uncle Sam's Army Erika and I have done a lot of traveling and seen a lot of country side. Moving to Texas was a big change from the life style we led in Germany, however, the beauty of the desert fauna and flora have grudgingly won our hearts. At this time it would take a crow bar to get us to pull up roots and go anywhere else.
